Dr. Eilish Dillon is Assistant Professor at the Maynooth University Department of International Development. Dr Dillon shared learning and best practice on ethical engagement with universities in the Global South, paying particular attention to how various inequalities, especially 'race' and gender interact in these partnerships. She has been actively engaged in global and development education in Ireland for over 30 years, with experience in programme design, curriculum development, co-ordination and teaching in higher education. She has engaged in supporting ethical global development communications in Ireland for many years, including the Dóchas Code of Conduct on Images and Messages (2010 - 2016) and Worldview Research Project (2020 - 2021). This seminar was followed up by a workshop in June 2024
