Description
A three month secondment completed within the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the Henry M. Rowan College of Engineering, Rowan University, New Jersey, USA.
This secondment was completed to conduct physicochemical characterisation of optimised NAD+-laden polyelectrolyte complex nanoformulations using in vitro microfluidic release, nano-isothermal titration calorimetry and quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation methodology.
International and interdisciplinary collaboration and networking were essential parts of this experience, allowing me to work alongside subject matter experts in biomedical engineering, polymer chemistry, and nanoformulation development at Rowan University. This environment fostered a valuable exchange of knowledge and technical skills, contributing significantly to the project’s success and to my professional growth.
