Description
This conference was the 7th biennial conference of the International Network for the Study of Spirituallity (INSS). It was held at SETU.and it was the first time that INSS held its biennial conference outside the UK. Delegates came from 25 countires and 5 continents. It was the most significant confernce on spirituality studies ever held in Ireland. One of the keynotes was published in a leading international journal; the 5 keynotes are available on the YouTube channel on the website of the Spirituality Institute for Research and Education (SpIRE). The lead organiser and chair of the conference was Dr Michael O'Sullivan, Emeritus at SETU, and founding programme leader of the MA in Applied Spirituality and a founding member of the Spirituality in Society and the Professions Research Group (SpirSoP) at SETU. The Spirituality Institute for Research and Education (SpIRE) in Dublin, which collaborates with SETU regarding spirituality studies at MA and PhD level, contributed to the conference in a number of ways and SETU Research Connexions also provided some funding.Period | 16 May 2023 → 18 May 2023 |
