SETU Carlow and Wexford Campuses were originally Institute of Technology Carlow and prioritise research and innovation that is collaborative and connected, drawing expertise and experience from multiple disciplines in order to maximise economic, societal and environmental impact. Through this portal, you will find out about some of the amazing multidisciplinary and collaborative research that is underway at SETU Carlow and Wexford in addition to our historical achievements. At SETU Carlow and Wexford, we have seven faculty-based Centres of Research and Enterprise (COREs), across the disciplinary specialisms of Engineering, Biotechnological and Environmental Sciences, Health, Design, Interactive Applications Software and Network, Social and Education work together to action and provide holistic and integrated solutions. Our research environment is supported by the Research and Commercialisation Support Centre, HIE/DACs for Innovation and Enterprise, the Dargan Centre for Research and Innovation and the Postgraduate Studies Office.
