The Department of Built Environment equips graduate professionals to meet the challenging, exciting and increasingly innovative demands associated with the disciplines of Architectural Technology, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management and Facilities and Building Services Management. Our full-time programmes are accredited by Engineers Ireland (EI), The Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland (RIAI), The Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT), The Society of Chartered Surveyors of Ireland (SCSI) and The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), thereby giving international recognition to the qualifications attained by our graduates.
