Organisation profile

The research activity in the Department of Humanities centres on the areas of tourism, hospitality and culinary arts. The focus of much of the research is on cognate areas in tourism and hospitality such as business relations, employee well-being, culture and heritage, engagement etc. The Department plans to build its research profile, engaging more staff in research and developing research engagement activities. Research activity in the Department of Humanities includes staff participation in the School’s Creativity and Culture Research Group (CCRG).
