The Department of Science is the most research active department in South East Technological University with over 35 research active academic staff and 50 postgraduate researchers. The research is multidisciplinary across pharma, biomedical, marine, agriculture, forestry and food sectors within two research centres: PMBRC and EIRC. We have active collaborators nationally and internationally engaged in our innovative applied research and importantly the research is also embedded in our undergraduate programmes building research capability from the early stages of education.
