Organisation profile
The research activity of the Department of Social Care and Early Childhood is embedded in the research group, Analysing Social Change (ASC). The focus of the department's research activity is on children, adolescents, older adults and families and how societal changes are impacting on them, the causes of these changes and broader implications at policy level. The Department plans to build its research profile, engaging more postdoctoral staff in research and obtaining funding for postgraduate research projects.
