The Department of Sport, Media and Marketing is a dynamic and multi-disciplinary department within the Faculty of Business and Humanities. The mission of the faculty is to provide relevant education and research that combines academic rigour and excellence with social and economic impact. Programmes include Sports Management and Coaching (GAA, Rugby & Soccer) courses, BA (Honours) in Media and PR, BA (Honours) In Content Creation and social media, BSc (Honours) in TV and Media Production and courses in marketing including BSc (Honours) in Digital Marketing with Analytics. There are two masters’ programmes in the department: MSc in Sports Performance Analysis and, MSc in Digital Marketing and Analytics, with specialist research expertise in these respective areas.
