The Eco-Innovation Research Centre (EIRC) is a multi-actor centre with over 25 academic staff and 27 postgraduates focused on the innovative development of ‘high value-added technologies/products/processes from natural resources’ and ‘low environmental impact processing/growth methods’. Sustainable solutions for the future development of industries such as the marine, agriculture, forestry and food sectors, and ‘green’ chemistry for bio-pesticides and pharmaceutical synthesis, require a collaborative approach. Eco-Innovation Research at SETU is uniquely supported across this broad range of disciplines.
