The Literacy Development Research Group (LDRG) is an interdisciplinary research team dedicated to advancing knowledge and practice in the fields of literacy, adult and further education, recognition of prior learning (RPL), social justice, and digital literacy. Our research is grounded in a strong commitment to equity and inclusion, with a focus on generating high-impact, research-informed practice that supports educational transformation both locally and globally. The principal thematic areas of the group’s work are: literacy; adult and further education; recognition of prior learning (RPL); social justice and digital Literacy. Through its work, the LDRG aims to contribute to more accessible, just, and future-focused educational opportunities for diverse learners and communities.
