Biography

Andrea Mc Namara works in the Department of Business at South East Technological University (Carlow campus) as a lecturer in Accounting and Finance. After completing her PhD at Waterford Institute of Technology in 2014, Andrea worked at the Whitaker Institute,  National University of Ireland, Galway as a postdoctoral researcher where she was involved in an EU-funded project entitled 'Strategic Transitions for Youth Labour in Europe (STYLE).

Teaching:

Andrea teaches the following modules: Corporate Finance in Accounting, Advanced Corporate Finance, Strategic Financial Management, Finance for Sport 1 & 2 and Business Internship Project.

Research Publications:

Andrea has published in several journals to include Journal of Corporate Finance, European Journal of Finance and the Irish Journal of Management.

Research Interests:

Andrea's research interests include Small and Medium Sized Enterprise (SME) Finance, Sustainable Finance for SMEs.
