Biography

Dr Anne Sweeney is a Lecturer in Management and the Programme Leader for Postgraduate Research in the School of Business at SETU. Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Business Studies degree from DCU, and a Master of Business Studies degree from UCD. She received her PhD at the University of Southampton in the UK. She is also a Chartered Member of the Institute of Personnel & Development. She has over 20 years of experience teaching and researching in the leadership field, following extensive professional experience of managing teams in knowledge-intensive firms. Her research interests focus on the factors influencing leadership behaviour in organisational settings and she has published in peer-reviewed journals including the International Journal of Management Reviews.
