Biography
Dr Anthony Burke BBS, ACA, PhD is a lecturer in Accounting at the School of Business at South East Technological University (SETU). Anthony is a Chartered Accountant with many years' experience in both practice and industry. Anthony trained in a Big 4 accounting firm and worked in industry for a number of years before to entering academia. Prior to joining SETU, Anthony held a position at Trinity College Dublin (TCD). During his time at TCD, Anthony was a multiple recipient of a Teaching in Excellence award. He has been involved in course and syllabus design at both TCD and SETU. Anthony’s research interests focus on the changing nature of accounting working organisations.
