Biography

Declan Browne is a Lecturer in Department of Science and Health and Program Director for the MSc in Strength & Conditioning. His main field of expertise is Strength and Conditioning Science. He has worked as a Strength and Conditioning coach and researcher for the past 15 years with a range of sports and national governing bodies. 

Over the past number of years Declan has developed funded research collaboration projects with NGB’s such as FAI, IRFU & GAA. Furthermore Declan has been a member of a number of review groups focused on athletic development at both national & regional levels

His research interests include athlete profiling, force time characteristics, game demands and time course recovery of field sport athletes.
