Biography

Eileen lectured psychology on the early childhood education, social care and associated masters programmes for 10 years. Eileen has supervised research masters programmes and in 2017 was promoted to Head of Department of Humanities. In 2023, Eileen took over as Head of Faculty of Business and Humanities on the SETU Carlow campus.

Research Interests

Child-centred research, qualitative research, youth offending, gender equality.

Teaching

Psychology modules across early childhood education, social sciences and social care programmes 2006-2017.
