Biography

Dr Eoghan O Shea is a Lecturer in Architecture at the Department of Architecture and Built Environment in SETU Waterford. He is a registered architect (MRIAI), having trained at the UCD School of Architecture and has accrued almost 20 years of architectural practice experience in Ireland, New Zealand and Hong Kong.

Eoghan holds a doctorate from Trinity College Dublin in the area of Universal Design and Building Evaluation, an MA in Teaching and Learning from SETU and a Postgraduate Diploma in Architecture: Advanced Environmental and Energy Studies from CAT/UEL. He is a current member of the All Ireland Architecture Research Group Steering Committee, the RIAI Education Taskforce and the Faculty of Engineerig Research Ethic Committee.

He has lectured previously at SETU Carlow; the Dublin School of Architecture at TU Dublin; and the School of Architecture at UL. He has guest lectured at QUB, UCD and the University of Westminster.
