Biography
Dr Fabrice Bartholin is a lecturer in Hospitality Management and Tourism. Fabrice teaches theory-based modules in the areas of hospitality and tourism operations management, with a particular focus on practical components.
Fabrice is currently the Programme leader for the Bachelor of Business in Tourism and Hospitality Services (Level 7), and Bachelor in (arts) Hospitality Management (Level 8).
Industry and teaching experience
Fabrice has more than 15 years of experience at the senior level in the luxury segment of the hospitality business, having worked in both Irish and international businesses in the service industry.
Fluent in English, French and Spanish, Fabrice has taught French to different cohorts under the Alliance Francaise umbrella in its Kilkenny Branch.
Education and research
Fabrice completed an Executive Master in Business Administration and was awarded a PhD by Dublin City University. Fabrice's Ph.D. work explored the impact of human and technology systems on frontline employees' individual experiences at work and organisational outcomes.
Fabrice is enthusiastic about interdisciplinary research, with a particular interest in frontline service encounters and employee well-being, service technologies, and service systems synergies.
