Biography

Hazel is an experienced strategic leader and researcher with a proven track record in managing and driving innovation through complex projects within the European digital and AgTech sectors. Currently serving as Programme Manager for ENTIRE, the European Digital Innovation Hub, she leads multidisciplinary teams to foster digital transformation across SMEs and public sectors. Her expertise spans strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and operational excellence, with an emphasis on Horizon Europe and national funding projects.

She has been the project lead for Walton on: Smart Agri Hubs (Regional Cluster Lead for Ireland and the UK); Regional Cluster Lead for AgROBOFood; Principle Investigator on AgriDISCRETE (a Department of Agriculture Food and the Marine, Ireland); Site Manager for the SFI Research Centre, VistaMilk; Walton Agri activities manager of Precision Agricultural Centre of Excellence (PACE), a SETU-Walton led Digital Innovation Hub and Project Manager on CITIES2030.
