Biography
Dr. Jiao Zhang is an Assistant Lecturer at South East Technological University (SETU). She teaches in the Brewing and Distilling programme at CICT (HUAHE Zhengzhou), focusing on fermentation, brewing science, and applied biochemistry.
Her research explores food science, microbial biotechnology, and the valorisation of brewing by-products for sustainable food and beverage production. Dr. Zhang completed her PhD in Biochemistry at SETU, supported by the Irish Research Council (current Research Ireland), and has published her work in leading brewing and food science journals.
