Biography

Dr. Muhammad Sarfraz is an experienced researcher in the field of nano-medicine. In August 2022, he joined Ocular Therapeutic Research Group (OTRG) of PMBRC-SETU, Waterford-Ireland as a Technical Lead. He obtained his PhD degree in Pharmaceutics (2017) from School of Pharmacy of Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), Wuhan-China and Post-Doc Fellowship (2018-2020) from College of Medicine of Henan University, Kaifeng-China. Since 2009, he is also engaged with School of Pharmacy of The University of Lahore, Lahore-Pakistan and now serving as an Associate Professor. He has supervised research projects of three Master students. There are three master and three PhD students under his supervision working on various nano-drug delivery systems such as liposome, nano-particle, nano-gel, nano-emulsion. Dr. Muhammad Sarfraz is highly motivated to work with pharmaceutical industries under the ubrella of PMBRC to provide pharmaceutical nanotechnology based solution to solve poor solubility and low bioavailability issues of the drug and products.
