My research interests lie in technology enhanced learning specifically the pedagogical use of technology in developing fully online and blended learning courses. I have a keen interest in the intentional design of online courses, specifically micro-credentials. I am actively engaged in research on micro-credentials both from a developmental and policy perspective at a European and national level and have co-authored several publications on the importance of design for micro-credentials.
