Sarah Fagan is an exercise porfessional, with 10 years industry experience. She completed her undergraduate degree in Dundalk Institute of Technology in Health and Physical Activity(2018). This led her to pursue a MSc in Exercise Physiology and its Application in Therapy in University of Galway(formerly NIUG)(2021).
Her previous work experience includes roles such as exercise coordinator in ExWell Medical, whereby she operated community based exercise programmes with older adults of various chronic illnesses. Following completion of her Msc, she undertook a research assistant role in the role of MicroRNAs as therpaeutics in muscle wasting due to mechanical ventalilation, post COVID-19.
She currently undertaking her PhD in the refinement of an exercise and protein supplement intervention for community based, frail older adults. Her research interests include exercise physiology, ageing and understanding both exercise/nutrition as an intervention.
