The aim of this study is to develop evidence-based interventions underpinned by behaviour change theory to improve jockeys’ nutritional and exercise adherence enhancing weight management for racing and subsequently jockey health, well-being and performance.

This is a mixed methods study which will explore jockeys, explore jockey enablers and barriers to exercise, and nutritional interventions.
