Abstract
This presentation examines issues associated with financial regulation in Ireland the experience and expectations of consumers and the population at large as result of the financial crisis. It draws on conceptual dimensions of regulation and seeks to frame them in a way that would contribute to future policy development. It emphasises an interdisciplinary approach and is mindful of the scale of the challenge that the crisis represents on a number of levels.
