Abstract

Interactive workshop to explore the Maturity Model for European Micro-Credentials, developed by the European Digital Education Hub (EDEH). This model supports senior managers in European Higher Education Institutions in implementing the EU Council Recommendation on Micro-credentials. Participants will review the latest academic insights on business developments, marketing, technology, and quality assurance, and engage in a multidisciplinary discussion to develop an implementation strategy. The workshop aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the institution's current status and future directions, guiding strategic resource and technology investments. The use of the maturity model will enhance internal communication and facilitate long-term planning for institutional change.
Outcomes:
• Gain practical insights into the effective implementation of Micro-credentials within their institution.
• Acquire tools and strategies to strengthen the integration and utilization of Micro-credentials.
• Develop a deeper understanding of the benefits and challenges associated with Micro-credentials in educational settings.
• Explore case studies and examples of successful Micro-credentials implementation.
• Collaborate with peers to discuss best practices and innovative approaches in Micro-credentials adoption.
