Abstract
This paper details the use of a project-based learning approach to the delivery of an entrepreneurial curriculum to software development students at the South East Technological University (SETU). For the challenge-based project, students were required to develop a compelling plan for a social technology venture and to create an audio-visual elevator pitch. This paper highlights an initial attempt at incorporating challenge-based learning and social entrepreneurship to support the development of entrepreneurial competencies amongst software development students.
