Nidhi Piplani-Kapur, Mrunal Sule, Viddhi Thakker

Research output: Book/ReportCommissioned report

In the pursuit of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, the G20 agenda aims to foster just and equitable global growth. The authors through this policy brief emphasise that since G20 countries are home to a majority of world’s older population, hiring migrants can positively create economic growth, reduce labour costs & create opportunities for increased investments.

The authors unveil comprehensive policy recommendations that encompass vital reforms within the International Labour Organisation, the integration of international frameworks into domestic policies, and the promotion of multilateral cooperation in managing migration. The authors conclude that together, we can empower civil society and build the capacity needed to shape a more inclusive future.
