Abstract
The workplace is becoming more collaborative and dynamic, and it is rarely the case that a single leader has all the expertise needed to deal with it. When leadership responsibilities are shared across multiple team members, team performance tends to improve. Anne Sweeney did an in-depth exploration of how team members share leadership responsibilities over the period of a year. She identifies the prevalence and predominant patterns of shared leadership.
