Abstract

This blog explores the EU's Indo-Pacific strategy and its focus on India as a key partner in addressing global challenges. The EU and India share common values, making them strong allies in a multipolar world. The blog highlights the potential for collaboration in higher education between the EU and India, particularly through initiatives like the Erasmus+ program. It discusses India's new education policy, which promotes internationalisation in higher education and positions India as a global leader.

The blog also emphasises the implications for European higher education institutions, including opportunities for collaboration, mutual recognition of qualifications, and expanding their presence in India. The conclusion encourages readers to recognise the benefits of these policies and engage in a world-class educational framework that enhances knowledge economies in both India and Europe.
